Anita Lucero

Manager El Campo Santo Inc., Program Coordinator RGEC -- Anita Lucero is the Manager of El Campo Santo Inc, the non-profit entity that oversees cemeteries for Atrisco heirs and others. She also helps coordinate special events and the implementation of a variety of social and community programs offered to heirs of Atrisco. Anita's responsibilities include providing information and sales of pre-paid plots, burials and headstones and urns. El Campo Santo Inc. is committed to continue improving these sacred grounds for heirs and their loved ones.
Lucero also is an Atrisco heir as well as a unit holder with a personal commitment to honoring and preserving our rich heritage. Anita was born and raised in Albuquerque and is a life- long resident of the community of Atrisco. Prior to joining the Atrisco companies in 2006, Anita worked as an outreach representative for a federally funded non-profit organization. She served the greater Albuquerque area along with the surrounding communities with a focus in the south Valley. Her work enriched and promoted early childhood education and nutrition for home care providers.  
Lucero also is working with the Atrisco Companies' educational arm, the Rio Grande Educational Collaborative, as a liason with RGEC's Before/After School Programs and the state's Children, Youth and Families Department so that more families can receive quality before and after school programs for their children in RGEC sites.
